Third Saturday in July, 1:00-4:00 p.m.
Mary Charlotte was Philip Foster’s long-suffering wife, and mother of nine (four when she made the trip around the horn in 1842). To celebrate her, and the many pioneer women who joined her in Oregon, come to our garden party on the third Saturday of July for a concert of suffrage songs by Cece Otto at 2:00. Tour the historic farm on the Oregon Trail, and learn about sidesaddle clothes and equipment from Ladies Aside. Tour our historic Rose Ramble. View an exhibit about women inventors. Kids and grandkids will enjoy the hands-on activities, like corn-grinding, croquet, crosscut sawing, and building a log cabin.
Admission is $5.00 per person or $20.00 per family of any size, free to members of the Jacknife-Zion-Horseheaven Historical Society.
