Turning Kids into Pioneers since 1993

The Jacknife-Zion-Horseheaven Historical Society (JZH) lovingly maintains five acres of Philip Foster’s donation land claim, including original and reproduced buildings. 

The non-profit 501(c)3 organization funds its efforts through school, family, and adult tours, donations, and many hours of volunteer time. 

JZH’s mission is to foster local historians as they share this important Oregon Trail story with guests from around the world. 

Open hours on Saturdays, May through October, 11:00-4:00. Admission $5.00/person or $20.00/family.  Additional dates and times available by scheduling a tour.
